Thank You, Media, for Keeping Us Going.

The media, whether it be through television, radio broadcasts, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, leaflets and the Internet, has been a huge support gatherer for groups like feminists. If it weren't for mass media, many people would not be informed about the issues going on in the world and how they affect others. Through media, the people voice support or backlash for a proposed law or even laws that have been signed. People can trigger media attention to receive help and support which channels up to the people that control the resources they need. The media services two ways: it sends messages from the top down and gathers information from the bottom and sends it to the top. Without the media, feminism would not be as collective, worldwide and effective. Thank you, media, for keeping us going!
